CAMP HARBOR WORKSHOP

In August of 2023, Mural Club partnered with Camp Harbor View Summer Camp, an organization that provides an inclusive summer camp program for Boston students in grades 6-12. Our organization led two workshops for Camp Harbor students. The first involved a "piece by piece" mural activity, where each student was assigned a portion of an image to recreate. With each student having completed a section of the image in their own artistic style, when pieced together, this would form a more complete mural. The second activity provided each student with an image of an empty wall located in Boston, where the student could imagine what they would create on the wall if they were a mural artist. These activities were part of the students' Boston mural education, where they had spent time travelling around Boston to learn about art in their community.
