COMMENCEMENT MURAL 2023

This mural, painted on a 5'x10' roll-up canvas, was created for Northeastern's Cap & Gown pickup event for graduating seniors. The mural was used as a photo backdrop for students to take pictures with and celebrate their time at Northeastern. Different from the previous year, this mural features a stained glass art inspired design. The floral elements are inspired by the Massachusetts Mayflower and plants found on the Northeastern campus arboretum. The center of the mural features the Northeastern name and motto, "Lux Veritas Virtus," Latin for "Light, Truth, Courage." Just below this, the central circle design mimics the torch and vines found in Northeastern's logo.
